Meet Dr. Wirant
Dr. Wirant grew up in Williamsville, NY. He completed his BS in Chemistry with a Bioscience option at the University of Pittsburgh. He subsequently earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1996. Graduating at the top of his dental school class, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, an organization that recognizes scholastic as well as clinical excellence.
Dr. Wirant then went on to complete his orthodontic residency at the highly ranked University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine State University of New York. (Orthodontics is a competitive field – just 3% of dentists who apply to an orthodontic residency are accepted.)
He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics which underscores his commitment to offering the most up-to-date, exceptional care for his patients possible.
Dr. Wirant has been serving Royersford and the surrounding community in his Royersford office since 2000. He supports many local sports teams, theatre and music groups, schools, local parishes, and individual fundraisers each year.
Outside of the office, Dr. Wirant enjoys spending time with his wife, four children, and extended family. You’ll often catch him immersed in music, tinkering with vintage stereo gear, fixing household items, or diving deeply into the latest information on any topic. (Yes, he’s a bit of a nerd, but that’s probably why he excels in his field!)
